At Enjoy Iceland Tours, we strive to provide exceptional travel experiences while ensuring transparency and fairness in our refund processes. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds, in compliance with Icelandic and European consumer protection regulations.
Refunds are processed based on the type of tour or service booked, the timing of the cancellation, and the reason for the request. Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to hello@enjoyicelandtours.com with the booking reference number and full name of the lead traveler. Refunds will be issued in Icelandic Krona (ISK) to the original payment method used for booking. Currency exchange fluctuations are not covered.
More than 24 Hours Before Departure: A 90% refund is available if the cancellation request is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. The 10% non-refundable confirmation fee is retained to cover administrative costs.
Less than 24 Hours Before Departure: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure are non-refundable.
Operator Cancellations: If Enjoy Iceland Tours cancels a small group tour due to weather conditions, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
More than 10 Days Before Departure: Cancellations made more than 10 days before the scheduled departure are eligible for a 90% refund, retaining the 10% non-refundable confirmation fee.
10 Days to 48 Hours Before Departure: A 50% refund will be provided for cancellations made between 10 days and 48 hours before the tour.
Less than 48 Hours Before Departure: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour are non-refundable.
Operator Cancellations: If we cancel your private tour due to severe weather, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable factors, a full refund will be issued.
Tour Cancellations by Operator: If a Northern Lights tour is canceled due to poor weather or lack of visibility, a full refund will be provided.
No-Sighting Policy: Refunds are not offered for Northern Lights tours if the lights are not visible after the first attempt, as this is a natural phenomenon beyond our control.
Changes to the number of participants in a booking are considered partial cancellations and are subject to the same cancellation policies as outlined above.
We do not charge any fees for rescheduling or modifying bookings, but additional costs may apply if the new tour details differ from the original booking.
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days upon receipt of a valid refund request. We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, credit card processors, or currency exchange rate changes.
Pre-paid permits, entry tickets, and third-party services booked through Enjoy Iceland Tours are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the individual service terms.
