Brilliant trip in a nice small group with a very helpful guide Macram with great knowledge about the lights and suitable camera settings. The trip was brought forward by an hour on the night to maximise the chance of seeing the lights for longer, and I am so glad they did! It was incredible and clouded over after 45 mins so we would have missed them otherwise. Rushing dinner plans to see the lights was a no brainer! The experience could have been beautiful. We were expecting to make more stops to have a better chance of seeing the aurora. We made a single real stop or the guidebook told us we could see the aurora over our phone. Then 1.5 hours of photos with his camera and after waiting in the cold for the guide to sell his photos. Tip: Not paying $200 for something you can do yourself Take your phone and take photos with special effect, and you'll see the lights as well as this guide. Thank you to Makrem for a wonderful Golden Circle Tour showing us the wild and contrasting natural beauty of Iceland. He also suggested we switch our Northern Lights Tour to tonight as the conditions were looking good. He and Paul took out their two small vans and worked and to find the best spot to see them, despite some snow, rain and cloud. Never any guarantees but bam, at our second spot, we had a wonderful clear view of them across the sky. The first group to see them in two weeks! They taught us how to use our cameras and took an amazing group photo. Can highly recommend you go with these guys who care about your experience and work hard to deliver! Thank you!!! Read Less
