Excellent service from booking to taking us out to search for the northern lights. The company was very understanding and accommodating when our flight was delayed. The Northern Lights tour is a small number of people, which was cool, because we all came from different countries, which made the tour special &‘ interesting. Maggi, was super cool and he took great pictures of us. It was so nice to see the Aurora. He knew each other great and told us a lot about the northern lights &‘ helped us photograph the lights themselves. Read Less

Go to joy is super responsive! Even before booking they answered all my questions promptly so I could book without problems last minute. I really liked the ethics of the company, choosing to cancel trips instead of taking people out into the cold when it's too cloudy to see anything. Maggi was great from the start, when there was a misunderstanding about which bus stop to pick me up (booked last minute) he called me to ask where I was instead of assuming I was a no show. After pickup we drove away from the lights of the city. During the drive Maggi played a recording for us explaining the science of auroras. The first location we went to was foggy so we drove a bit more and found a better location. We were the second bus to arrive and the last to leave. The auroras were visible from the bus since we left the city and Maggi pointed them out as we drove. We got incredibly lucky and it was a night full of activity. When we arrived Maggi helped people adjust they're phones for pictures. Then he took a pictures of us as a group with his camera as well as individual shots that are available for purchase. After that we were free to take pictures and enjoy the lights. Dress warmer than you originally planned and try to get phone friendly gloves cause the cold is bitting in a clear night. I was lucky to have a couple of hand warmer packs and it made my experience much better. I decided to buy my picture and Maggi sent it to me several times since we were having problems with the attached file. Overall I would highly recommend to book this experience and I thank Maggi for answering all our questions and making sure we got an amazing night! Read Less

First of all I tried to seek the northern lights on my own at first and although I saw them, it was a mediocre experience. So I booked a tour and it was SO worth it. The guide (MM) was very knowledgeable, a true expert and we had an amazing experience. We saw a great display DESPITE the Kp forecast and and had the luck to not have any cancellations. Do not freak out when tours are canceled, as the guides are experts and do it for the client’s sake. There are many factors going to an aurora display. Overall I felt it was more than worth it and feel grateful for having a guide like this! Read Less

An incredible experience I’ll remember forever. Our guide Makrem was so passionate about making sure we saw the lights although careful to manage our expectations, but we were very lucky and the lights were out the whole time we were out. My friend and I cried to see them change colour and dance in the sky, just beautiful. Makrem was also very warm, funny and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend this tour to others going to Iceland Read Less
